CELSO MARTINS PIMENTEL
Lawyer and Mechanical Engineer. Born in Vitória, Pimentel was educated at the Federal University of the State of Espírito Santo in the faculties of Law and Engineering, graduating in 1984 and 1985 respectively. Pimentel also holds two Master's degrees from British Universities; LLM (Maritime Law) from University of Southampton and M.Sc. in Port and Shipping Management, University of Wales College of Cardiff, Wales, UK. He has had the opportunity of working as a lawyer in the family Law Office and has also worked for the Brazilian mining company CVRD (Companhia Vale do Rio Doce), the world's leading mining company in the production and trade of iron ore. Prior to returning to Brazil, on conclusion of Post-graduation studies in the UK, Pimentel implemented a training program at the Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association Office, in Londo. In 1996,Steamship Mutual appointed Seastar as its Correspondent for the Ports of Espirito Santo State. Pimental has also lectured on Maritime transport, Port Engineering, Port Policy and Maritime Law at the Universities of Vila Velha and Federal University of the State of Espírito Santo. Pimentel is the head of Seastar.

ELIANA FAISSAL SALIM
Civil Engineer, graduated from the faculty of Engineering of the Federal University of the State of Espirito Santo in 1986. Eliana holds a Master's degree (M.Sc.), in Structural Engineering from University of Wales, Cardiff, UK. Eliana is responsible for the Seastar accounting department and is the general secretary of the Seastar office. Eliana has considerable experience in fatigue process, strenght material, steel and structural reinforced concrete design and math calculation and statistics. She is also engaged in the Seastar technical department.

ALEXANDRE BRAGA NÉPIO
Lawyer, graduated from Vitoria Law School, in 2000.
He has been with Seastar since 1999, when he was a trainee. Alex is in charge for the cases dealing oil pollution, ship´s casualties and official Inquiry at the Port Harbour Master-Captaincy.

LEO GONÇALVES
Is a Civil Engineer (Hons.), graduated from the Faculty of Engineer of the Federal University of Espírito Santo State, in 1994. Leo was the best student of graduated in 1994. Leo joined Seastar since 1998. He is responsible for the revision of the technical survey report issued by the appointed surveyors. Leo is also the technical co-ordinator of the incident analysis for loss prevention and oil pollution clean up control.

Mrs. NÉLDIMA KNUP
She is a Mechnical Engineer, graduated from the Faculty of Engineering of Federal University of Espírito Santo State, in 1994. She joined Seastar on 2002, to be the assistant of the appointed surveyors, for technical aspects involving the analysis of the technical issues involving the steel pre-loading surveys, cargo damages, lashing, etc. She is also in charge to review the final survey reports issued by the appointed surveyors.

GABRIEL ROCHA PIMENTEL
has been qualified as Lawyer in 2007, from University of Vila Velha, in Espírito Santo State, he has joined Seastar, at the beginning of 2008, as trainee, in order to be a claims handler, for cargo claims, charter party disputes and marine casualties.

VITÓRIA MARINE SURVEYORS.(VMS) LTDA.

Mr. JOSENILDO DE JESUS SOUZA
He is graduated from Federal Technical School of Espírito Santo State. He is the Technical manager of VMS, also in charge to carry out the pre-loading survey of steel products, for Seastar. He has large experience in carry out steel products survey. He is also experienced in pre-loading for bagged sugar cargo and its technical parameter control. He is the VMS´ manager since 2003. Josenildo is the co-ordinator of 6 technical assistants also able to carry out the job at the port site.

INDEPENDENT MARINE SURVEYORS (IMS) LTDA.

ELIMAR SILVA
Mechanical Engineer graduated from the Faculty of Engineering of the Federal University of the State of Espírito Santo in 1968. Elimar has worked for many years for Vale do Rio Doce Navegação (DOCENAVE), a shipping company belonging to CVRD (Cia. Vale do Rio Doce). Since 1980 Elimar has worked as an Independent Surveyor for various Surveyor's Companies which include "Land & Associates" and has also carried out numerous surveys for leading P & I Clubs. He has a vast experience in on-off hire, ship's survey condition, draft survey, bunkering surveys, pre-loading surveys on steel products and hull and machinery inspections.
